Two Days Off is an independently woman-owned, carbon neutral lifestyle brand committed to creating a sense of ease everyday. We believe thoughtfully crafted clothes will be loved, that loved clothes last, and you deserve the ease associated with knowing your wardrobe was artfully, ethically, and sustainably made. Our garments are designed for longevity, and cut and sewn in small batches in Los Angeles, California.
Ease Is More Than How You Feel In Our Clothes; It Is Knowing That Your Wardrobe Was Artfully, Ethically, And Sustainably Made.
For us, ease is not only about how you feel in our clothes. It is also the ease of mind that the garment on your back has not come at the cost of someone else’s welfare, whether that be directly from our production practices or indirectly by our environmental impact.
We locally source our deadstock fabrics in Los Angeles, California and our virgin linen textiles for the core collection from suppliers in North America. Using deadstock, fabric that has already been manufactured but was unused, means that we are not adding to existing textile manufacturing demand. Using deadstock fabric also means that we have a limited amount of each fabric, making each of our designs super special.
We place a priority on using natural fiber textiles (such as linen, cotton, wool, and hemp) because growing and manufacturing them have less of an impact on the environment. Additionally, fabrics made of natural fibers are more comfortable to wear, wear well over time, and can be recycled or biodegrade once the life of the garment is over.
All of our products ship plastic-free (and we do our best to avoid plastic and excess waste in all areas of our operations. The packaging you receive your order in is reusable and 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
We believe that high-quality, well-designed clothes will be loved. And loved clothes last. Each garment is drafted considering silhouette, comfort, and longevity. We handpick textiles that will feel good, wash well, and look good for a long time. We believe in clothing that you can love for years, that’s why durability is of utmost importance in our designs. The devil is in the details, so we like to finish our pieces beautifully and if there is space for a hidden pocket, you know it will be there.
Two Days Off pieces are ethically made-to-order or in small batches here in Los Angeles, California. We choose to produce this way to avoid waste from overproduction of sizes and colors that don’t sell. This means the lead time for made-to-order garments is at least 4 weeks. During that time we cut, sew, and finish each garment with a close eye for detail and quality. For our small-batch runs, pieces are often limited edition, meaning just you and a few others will own it.
